Frequently Asked Questions
- I am under contract currently. Can I cancel my current contract?
Often times, you can. We are happy to help you review your options.
- Do I need collateral?
No. Some clients prefer to offer collateral and enter a deductible plan, which offers the lowest cost solution. But we also have guaranteed cost plans that do not require collateral.
- Can we cut our own paychecks?
Some clients prefer to work with their third-party payroll processor. However, when clients learn about Eplica’s robust payroll services at no additional cost, we usually assume this responsibility.
- What are your additional fees?
There are none with our workers’ compensation program. There are no on-boarding fees, no cancellation fees and no payroll process fees.
- Are there any extra fees for naming my client as an additional insured?
No.
- Are there any extra fees for a waiver of subrogation?
No.
- Are there any mid-contract assessments or end-of-contract audits?
Never.
- How do you approve new clients and codes?
Approvals are simple: fill out an online form or fax the form to Eplica and we’ll approve codes (the correct ones) and evaluate client risk within 24 hours.
- What happens to my mod rate?
We have invested substantial time and resources into what is arguably the best workers’ comp. claims management program in the staffing industry. If you are serious about safety, we’ll partner with you to improve your claims frequency and costs, which will lower your costs and mod rate.
- Do you offer safety rebates?
Yes! You can earn up to 20% of the premium back.
- I do business in multiple states. How does Eplica handle that?
We are able to do business in all states with the exception of Rhode Island and Alaska – all under one contract.
- Do I need to add Eplica to my client contracts?
No.
- What if I already work with a company that processes my payroll?
Great. We work in partnership with other companies on a regular basis.
- What workers’ comp. carrier do you have?
The Eplica Insurance Company is a captive workers’ compensation insurance program, fronted and reinsured by an A rated insurance carrier.
- What do my insurance certificates say?
Issued by an A rated insurance carrier, they will name you and your clients (upon request) as an additional insured.
- What type of staffing business doesn’t qualify for workers’ comp. coverage from Eplica?
Staffing for residential roofing and drivers.
